Yes, you can download your submissions in Excel, PDF or CSV formats: http://www.jotform.com/help/73-How-to-Partially-Download-Form-Submissions-as-Excel-CSV-PDF and we also have integrations such as Google Spreadsheet that allows you to capture your submissions directly in a spreadsheet.

Do users get an email notification?

Yes, you can create an autoresponder to send an automatic response to your users when the form is submitted.
