Formatting a PDF form?

I have recently made the switch from Adobe FormsCentral to JotForm, and while the online functionality is good, the PDF versions of forms created by JotForm seem quite inferior.

The PDF versions of my form look very ugly, with the full page width used for what on the online version are very narrow text fields (10-30 characters). Furthermore, some of the fields which should be hidden by default end up appearing. This means that what was comfortably a 2-side form in FormCentral PDF format is now onto a third page when I create the PDF in JotForm.

Is there any way of tweaking the formatting on a PDF form, so fields don't take up an entire page's width but can go side-by-side (as with the online version)? Also, is there a way of suppressing certain content entirely when it comes to creating a PDF?

I can see what you are saying from the preview provided. I am currently looking into a way of adjusting this if possible. I will provide you with an update on this soon.

    Thank you for understanding.
