How can I block a specific customer from sending the Form repeatedly?

    Hello

Our business is money lending. We have some customers which we have rejected because of their bad credit record. Despite of this they continue to send the form repeatedly.

How can we block these customers? We don't wish to block our regular customers from sending subsequent application forms.

    Hello cimble,

Yes it is possible to block specific users from submitting forms multiple times. To be able to do that you should be able to identify the users with a unique identifier.

You can also use our "Unique question" feature which will prevent users from submitting duplicate submissions.

Example: You can set one of your form's question (eg. - Email address or Mobile number to uniquely identify a user) to be a unique question. This will not allow a user to use the same email address or mobile number to submit your form more than once. The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/223-How-to-set-Form-Limits-Based-on-a-Unique-Question

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

    Hi

Thanks for responding. If I follow your instructions the result is that our regular clients are also not able to send recurrent applications. I wish to blockonly one individual who is sending the same form everyday!

    Hello cimble,

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to just block one user from submitting form without using "Unique Submission" feature.

Can you please let us know the submissions which this particular user have sent? Alternatively you can also let us know the IP address of this user and we will try to block it from here to see if that solves your problem.

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!
