can I upload my own files

If I understood you correctly you want to upload files. But can you be more specific where you want to upload them. To be sure that file is uploaded and sent to your email address you need to create upload filed on your form, set upload field in your notification and that field will be populated with real values while sending email, of course if user uploaded some file inside of your form. Also inside of email notification there need to be correct email address.
