How to add edit link in form itself?

Asked by Lifelongtherapy on March 15, 2015 at 09:30 PM

    Hi,

Is it possible to have the {edit form} link put into my Forms?  I know I can put it in my Autoresponder email, but sometimes people loose the email and I need to resend them the form, so I go to INBOX and forward the form to them, but that form is just a PDF and cant be edited.  If I could put the {edit form} link in there then they could follow that link to edit it.

    Thanks,

My Forms autoresponder email thanks inbox

    Hello Lifelongtherapy,

Unfortunately it is not possible to achieve your requirement. {edit_link} is generated only after the form is submitted.

Please be noted that edit link contains the ID of the submissions which will not be available in the form and is generated after submissions. More over tags {} to get the ID or the field value will not return any value in form but only on thank you page or submission emails.

    Hope this answers your query.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
