Downloads and IP Address

Something you are doing with downloads is wreaking havoc with my systems.

Prior to today, I never had the IP Address show up in my downloads.  Today I discovered Column A on my downloaded spreadsheet had the IP Address in it.  Never had it before.

Now I suppose this would be alright if I had known about it in advance but, to make matters worse, not all of my downloads have it.

Now before I go off the deep end accusing you of something you did not do, let me tell you that within the past few days, I have discovered JotForm reports and I have been experimenting with these by creating ExCel reports selecting various fields.

Would any of this experimentation be triggeriing the IP Address to suddenly start appearing?

Hi Terry,

Our apologies. If the IP Address is not selected when creating the Excel report, it should not appear in the file. We have some issues with CSV and Excel Reports today so the problem could be related to it. But I've checked your current report from this form http://www.jotformpro.com/form/50838177977978 and the Excel file doesn't contain the IP Address now. Is this a newly created report? Am I right to assumed that the issue is already fixed to your end? Please confirm. Otherwise, I will submit this to our developers for further review.

By the way, just to add that I cannot replicate the problem to my end for both CSV and Excel report, but we didn't get an update yet from our developers about the issue so the problem might still occur. I would suggest clearing your forms cache and try it again. Please update us here so we'd know that the issue still persists.
