Integration of Google Spreadsheet to populate a form

You have a great integration with Google Spreadsheet where you send data from a form to Google Spreadsheet which works well.

Do you have the capability to use the integration going the other way to populate a form with data from the google spreadsheet.

So if you had a database held in a Google Spreadsheet with names, emails and addresses of people, to use this information to populate a form with that data using the email address as the matching key?

    Best regards

    Hi David,

I'm afraid that we do not have a feature that can accomplish your needs. We have a way to import your entire data from Excel to a form, using our Import App:

    http://apps.jotform.com/app/import_data

    http://www.jotform.com/help/308-Import-App-Easily-import-your-data-in-Excel-or-CSV-to-JotForm

We have our API: http://api.jotform.com/. Using our API, you could possibly do this thing in Jotform.

    Thanks

I did not want to input all the data, I want to use it as a look up, so if someone was on the database, if they entered their email address, Jotform would match them on the database and populate the form with their other details to save them entering again. Similar to what happens if you use Continue form later option, it remembers who you are and populate the form with data you have already entered.

Thank you for your idea. We have sent a feature request ticket to our Development Team for consideration.

There is no ETA for when it will be implemented, but we will let you know if we have any updates on this.
