Summarizing the submitted data

How can I summarize the data that is submitted via a form?

I have made an investigation form with several questions which have those answer possibilities: 'yes', 'may be' and 'no'.

Is there a way to count the 'yes'-answers as well as those with 'no' and 'may be'?

Sure, I can make an excel table with some formula's that wil do the job, but I wonder if Jotform has such capabilities.

To be able to achieve the summary you wanted, you will need up to 2 option answer only (i.e YES or NO only... exclude Maybe)

You will need the Count function and Calculation widget to achieve this. It can be done using the Checkboxes as it has the Count function needed.

Here is an example form http://form.jotformpro.com/form/51186423928965?

As you can see on the demo form.. if checked = Yes, unchecked = No. You can summarize then the difference.

As you mentioned already, if you need to do a more complex summary, you can always use the Submission Data spreadsheet result, and create the summary using spreadsheet/excel function.

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance on this.

    Thanks.
