Below, in italics, is a comment that I received from my supervisor. I have removed the instructions and the video, but I feel that they have value. Is it possible set a field, control and/or widget so that it is not printed when the form is submitted:
Thank you,
Alan
Comment from my supervisor:
Alan – this was submitted for a pardon – Can you change the form so it takes out all the instructions? You can see, we can’t submit this to the pardons board members as it doesn’t look clean with all those instructions.
Put the instructions in a separate document, and leave the application with just the application information if you would.
Thanks,
David -

Hi,
The headers, text and images in your form should not be included in the submission data unless you have the option enabled in your submissions:
You submissions themselves did not appear to include them.
If you want to hide the fields in the form, you can conditionally hide them:
http://www.jotform.com/help/57-Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic
Just add a field that has a selection to show the instructions and then base your conditions off that field. This way, you can show or hide the fields based on whether or not you want them to show in the form when printing from your browser.

Hi David,
Thanks for getting back to me. Interesting. It appears that the submission that we received was from someone who saved the file that they were working on to a .pdf file because they did not pass the e-mail validation.
Am I correct that if I include the video it will be like an image, and not show up when printed?
Alan

If you are printing the form submission, the video will not show up as an image or otherwise. If you are printing the form itself, the video will show up since the whole form is printed. I believe you are just trying to print the submission data, in which case, the video will not be included.
