    if a question on my form is not filled out i dont want that question to appear on my response

    how do i get only the questions that are filled out in my response?

    In order for you to get only the filled out questions on the submitted response, you can achieve that as follows:

    1 - From the form builder My Forms, click the form you want to make adjustments, and click Submissions, as the following figure:

    2 - Click on the gear, and check the option Auto Hide Empty Fields, as shown below:
