Hello,
I just sent out an email with a JotForm PDF attached and the recipients are receiving an error message when they go to submit the form. The error message reads:
ERROR
Form ID did not match. Form ID: Form Name: 51204881492152
Please let me know how to fix this.
Thank you,
Carol

Could you please tell us Carol how the error happened?
From what you have mentioned, it seems that you have sent an email to your clients that has a fillable PDF of your jotform and when they submitted that PDF file, they got the error you have mentioned above: "Form ID did not match"
Is that correct?
Just to mention, I have just tried to fill out your jotform http://www.jotform.us/form/51204881492152 and it is working properly for me.

Hi Ben,
That is correct. I saw that you filled out a form ~ thank you for troubleshooting it. I'm not sure why they are getting the error message.
Thank you,
Carol

OK, so I assume you've been sharing only the direct link, instead of the PDF http://www.jotform.us/form/51204881492152
Does any of your users still have the problem? If so, can you ask them which browser they use?

Jeanette,
I save the from as a PDF and rename it. I then attach the PDF to an email. They open the attachment, complete the form and submit it. The most popular browsers used here are Firefox, IE and Chrome. Is there one browser that works better than another?
Thank you,
Carol

We recommend using Chrome and Firefox, sometimes, the issue might be related to browsers cache issues, clearing cache would solve the problem. Is this issue still happening? It's important for us to know the exact browser version, and also operating system, that was used in order to reproduce the issue and fix it.
