Jot Form E mail Newsletter

I am using the newsletter app but I am stuck when it coms to the smtp settings. I am using my gmail smtp. Can you confirm what user name and password I should be using my g mail or jot form one? Thanks Anna

This is the error message I am getting Message could not be sent to anna.macrae@kilmallie.freechurch.org. Mailer Error: SMTP connect() failed.

Hi,

The username is your Gmail address and the password is your Gmail password. Port should be 25 and smtp.gmail.com for the server:

smtp.gmail.comsmtp.gmail.com

That should be the proper settings.

So what is the Host?

Here is the setup for gmail:

Hostname: smtp.gmail.com

Port: 25

Username: your gmail username

Password: your gmail password

Security ProtocolL TLS

This should work properly.
