HI I'm new to Jotform and I have a huge learning curve. I created my first form. a photography contract and sent the link via email to the client to fill in and sign . However, she says she cannot type anything into the fields. I had pre-populated some of the fields with name, time, date etc. she says when she hovers over she can see that info but when her cursor leaves the filed it disappears. I though she would at least be able to fill in the signature and check the box for terms and conditions. is there something i did not do or did wrong? please let me now how I can fix this problem. Thank you.

    Hi,

I just reviewed your form. I noticed that you created a mask for each field to populate it. This is the reason the user is not able to fill in the information.

If you would like to set a default value I would suggest to use the DEFAULT VALUE button

This will populate the fields and let the user edit any field.

You may place a hint sample, so the user can see how to enter the data.
