I just lost 2 hours of work while reviewing my newly created form. What is saved is a version from the start, although the autosave was on all the time.

If your browser had timed out or logged you out of your JotForm account, the changes may not have been saved. However, if the changes were saved at any point, you can check your revision history to and restore the form to any previously saved version from there:
