adding section numbers and field subnumbers

Hi I have a form with multiple sections, to make it clear and referenceable in completion instructions.  

i.e.  i would like a way of auto numbering the sections and sub sectional fields as follows:

1. your details

1.1 name

1.2 surname

2. store information

2.1 store name

2.2 store type

3. declaration

3.1 Agree to T&C's

is there any easy way to achieve this numbering using a widget or something?

Unfortunately, I don't think we have one that you can use to do this in the form. I would suggest doing it manually instead. Add the numbers as soon as you add the fields.

Maybe we could add this asa feature request,  Our maybe i could write this as a widget, or app

Perhaps you can use the Configurable List Widget for the sectioning option as well.

He uses CSS and Configurable List to add auto numbering on the added fields.
