Way To Capture Only Certain Parts of a Field

    Hello, I am trying to build a configurable list that only captures numbers for some fields, BUT I need those field labels to be self explanatory.

    For instance, in one question I will ask, "are you male or female". A 1 would represent male and 2 represent female. In my form, I have to put 1 - Male, 2 - Female, so the user knows which one to pick. Is there anyway though, to only show only a 1 or a 2 in the results that I get for the field "are you male or female"?

    I hope this makes sense.

    Unfortunately that is not possible to achieve with Configurable list. 

    You can achieve that with dropdown field and conditional logic to pass values to other field.

    You can hide "Result" field so ti will not be visible to your users but it will be shown inside of your submissions.

    Can I do this with a mix of fields? For instance, my first question is "what is your name" (text field). Then I need to ask female / male ( 1 or 2).
