    Hello,

I had created some forms. Actually I had just one problem before I can get my FORM completely useful.

I created one Form called "PRUEBA DE PREGUNTAS" and this form has questions with:

    -GPS LOCATION (VISIBLE)

    -GPS LOCATION (LATTITUDE-LONGITTUDE)

    -GPS LOCATION (WITHOUT SHOW MAP)

-GPS LOCATION (LATTITUDE-LONGITTUDE WITHOUT SHOW MAP)

    -GPS direction

    -GET VISITOR LOCATION (show)

    -GET VISITOR LOCATION (hide)

But I tried to answer it in iPad and when the user enters to the link, in all those questions just appears the name of the question, but doesn't appear anything else. What can I do? I need to get the GPS location from the place that the user is answering.

Also, I answered the same Form in iPad & screen computer.... and when I get the Excel Report:

The only questions that have an answer are: GPS location (visible), GPS LOCATION (LATTITUDE AND LONGITTUDE VISIBLE). But only when I answered it in my computer. Not in ipad.... I need to see those answers in the ipad.....

And "GET VISITOR LOCATION" is the adress from what?

    Thanks!!!

Can you please try first using the secure URL of the form. Try this URL https://www.jotform.com/53407251265855

The some widgets not requires the browser secure protocol. So this could be the reason why the widget was not working properly on the Ipad browser.

Please let us know if issue persist even after doing this process.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

The URL is exactly the same that I send yesterday at night and one person answered the Form yesterday. But doesn't appear anything in the ipad.

I was able to see the problem now. I test the form on Ipad browser, but the GPS Location widget was not consistently appears on th Ipad browser.

since the widget is not visible, the end-user will not be able to answer the location question.

BUT the widget works just finde when using another device browser like the iphone

I have submitted a bug ticket report to our higher team support to check on this.

We will let you know once we have fixed.

For the meantime, I also suggest testing the widget while using only a single GPS location widget on the Form. I noticed that it seems to work well when only 1 GPS Location widget is on the form. Using multiple GPS widget seems to cause lag and break some functionality.

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Hello,

Ok... But we can use the location widget on ipad? I understand that iPhone will work, but we need it on iPad.

In addition, I placed the seen and unseen questions to see which works but none Works correctly.

I tried all the  posible location questions only to see which works, but on the form I will use just one.

    Hope you can help me!

As mentioned by my colleague, the GPS location widget does not seem to work on iPad right now, he has already forwarded this to our developers to have it checked and fixed.

We'll need to wait for the developers to have this fixed.

Have you tried using the Get Visitor Location widget? It captures the exact location of the user including the address, and it works in iPad.

    Hello,

I'd used "Get Visitor Location widget", but it sends the location from the city. We need to have the exact location of the user, not the general location of the city.

    Hope you can help me.

    Hi,

I have checked the widget and yes, you do not get the exact location , you only get the general data like Country, Region and City, in the settings I can not find a way to show the exact location info.

You will get news soon in regards to the issue with the GPS Location widget.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Regards.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the long wait.

We've investigated the issue and found that it has to do with your privacy settings on geolocation, as shown here

Please allow your location to be accessed by your Safari browser, and the widgets should work as intended.

Give that a try and let us know how it goes.

    Thank you for your patience.
