icons next to my forms

What do the icons mean next to my forms?  For example, I have an orange 1 next to my form (screenshot attached)

Thank you for contacting us. The number in the orange box, next to the name of the form, indicates all the submissions that have not yet been viewed. The number under the form names, indicate all the submission that have been submitted.
