Worldpay payment tool: Ability to pass Credit Card Type selection from JotForm

    I wish to use the Worldpay payment integration but it currently only passes an amount and a static description parameter (Payment Purpose) to Worldpay.

    I've spoken with Worldpay Tech Support and they just need my jotform to provide a dropdown to request the cardtype and pass the correct value to them alongside the other parameters.

    I need the form user to pre-select the cardtype as if they choose a credit card, an additional surcharge is payable. I don't handle any other credit card info such as card numbers or expiry dates, as this is all processed on Worldpay's servers

    Worldpay have provided the code required if it was hard coded but the dropdown should be easy enough and just to mirror the same values (AMEX, DINS, VISA etc...)


    So my rather longwinded question is - Is there any way to enhance the Worldpay integration to include passing this additional info? Also any plans to enhance the Payment Purpose description to allow it to be populated from a field value (such as {BookingRef}) rather than just static text?

    I've checked our WorldPay integration, Simon, and it seems that we do not support such an option at the moment. The drop down presented in your screenshot itself is easy to make even with our ordinary Drop Down field, however sending that information along to WorldPay is something that would require additional coding on our WorldPay integration.

    I'll forward this thread to our developers as a feature request for possible inclusion in the future, to see if we can make it so that you will be able to send the payment type along with the submission.

    As with any feature request, we unfortunately can't give any estimates about when or even if the feature would be implemented, as it depends on current workload of our developers and general demand for any specific feature.

    As soon as such a feature is implemented, we will update you through this thread. Thank you.

    There are no plans for enhancing the Payment Purpose field of the Custom Payment Amount in such a way at the moment, but if you want us to, we can split that into a different thread and send that as another feature enhancement request to our developers. :)

    If the integration is updated, it is probably better to leave this as a single request.  If we split it in to two separate requests, if one update is made, the other might not be.  As my colleague stated, we cannot say if this will added and if it is, we cannot give you a timeline of when it will be.   We will let you know via this thread if there is any progress.
