I'm probably not going to do avery good job of explaining this one, but here we go...
I'd like to have an option to add some text to a field and retain all the previous entries and also timestamp that new submission. I've seen similar mechanisms in sharepoint - a field to input the text and another field to add it to, but also retaining all the previous entries...
is this possible in jot form?

Hi,
You could use our configurable list widget:
http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/configurable_list
This would allow you to have a field or group of fields that will allow you to dynamically add new sets of fields. Your original entry would be retained and when you edit the submission, you could add new sets of data to the widgets and add your own time stamp to each new entry.
