read only fields / edit mode

Hi,

Is there a way to have "Read Only Field" both during form filling and form editing mode, currently I can only achieve it when filling and I would like to have it "Read Only" even in Edit mode.

Hello,

The point of read only is to protect the data from end users. It's intentionally editable via the submissions panel since this is what most people  wanted. I'm not sure how the design might be modified to accommodate your request.
