    How to display First Name in the Thank You page?

    Asked by Jennifergrainger on March 09, 2016 at 09:26 PM
    Thank you. It is easy once you know where to look! One last thing is on
    the Thank You page. I want it to display the first name (Hello,
    {firstname} ) It did it in the beginning then in messing around I
    managed to delete the field and don't know how to get it back. Can you
    help me? https://form.jotform.com/60607159494159
    Thank you

    To display the name of the user in the Thank You page, you can follow the guide below:

    1. Setup your Thank You page by following this guide: Setting Up the Thank You Page

    2. Click the Edit Text to open the Editor

    3. Then on the Editor, click the Form Fields dropdown and select Full Name

    4. You should now see the {fullName} in the editor. Click save when done.

    You should now see the name in the Thank You page after submitting.

    If you need further assistance, do let us know.

    Her question is how to display the {firstName}, NOT the {fullName}.

    That is correct Sunny. Thank you for your reply. The user did state the previous First Name field was deleted, and the Full Name field may have been its replacement. The user will first have to add the {fullName} in the Thank You page. The {fullName} can still be used to display the First Name by adding :first in the fullName field so it looks like this: {fullName:first}
