Is it possible to have the form pre-filled with the previous years data?Asked by oecc on April 13, 2016 at 03:09 PM
There are saving methods you can apply, one of them is the session parameter method, please check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later
Basically, you can clone your form and label the cloned form with the next year's number.
On your current form, you will need to create an autoresponder email that will contain the link of the next year's form(cloned form) :
Let us know if have more questions.
Do you really think that answers my question?
Sorry if I was not clear. That method, would only work for new submissions, so users that register on 2016 will be able to register on 2017 through that custom link that is sent via an Autoresponder Email.
If you want to pre-filled your form with previous years data(2014), we have an up called Field Prepopulator: https://apps.jotform.com/app/field_prepopulator
You will have to manually fill the form, and generate the custom link to share it to the user:
Let us know if you have more questions, we will be glad to assist you.
