I'm using the text area basic field to request a list that I would like displayed as one item per row. How can I control that formatting in the field editor?

Right now, if I enter one item per line, the submission displays each line as data within a single line, with no commas to separate items.

There is not way to control the format of the text box field. Have you considered using the CONFIGURABLE LIST WIDGET.

You may add only a text area in the widget. With this the user may add as many items as he requires and it will display one under the other in the submission report.
