Setting up Reply-to header in our email notification

    Hi,

I have embedded 2 jotforms on our website www.musicmarvel.com/contact-us. These forms are for asking questions and requesting support. When the user submits the forms however, the reply to address is set to noreply@jotform.com. I have indicated in the settings that the reply to address should be the email address that they enter on the form but this does not work. Its very inconvenient for our support team.

I read your form on this issue and the fix is said to be linking up with a Mandrill account. You are probably aware however that Mandrill is going away as of April 27th 2016 and is fully merging with MailChimp.

Do you have another solution to this problem? I understand that jotform used to have this working but not anymore. :(

Actually, to use Reply-To header you do not need to use any integration, just to set the reply-to field to the email field.

For your support to be able to use it, you should set it up in email notifier.

Now, looking at the form on your website - https://form.jotform.com/61055945539160 the email reply-to is already set up properly:

Can you please tell us if you have found this option in the meantime and have already resolved the issue, or are you still experiencing the same even with that setup?

I already had that set to reply to the sender email that is entered but it is still not working. I noticed that if I try the email reply feature inside of a jotform submission then the reply to was correct but outside of jotform it seems to not work properly.

I have tried to fix this for you. Please do test it out and let us know how it goes.

If the issue still exists, I would suggest to create one more email notifier by following the steps here: Setting Up Email Notifications

Once you test it out after setting up the second email notifier, you would need to get 2 email notifications from one submission. If one has the reply-to header, it would suggest that somehow the email notifier got corrupted, but if neither of them do, do let us know and we will raise this up to our developers for further inspection of the same.
