Can't Hide Empty Fields on Notification Email

Prior to Jotform changing the Email function, my notification email was correctly hiding empty form fields - especially since I have several conditions set up on the form. Under the old preferences, Hide Empty Fields is set as enabled.

However, once the change in the email function happened, the hide empty field function stopped working even though I have not changed the form or any settings. There is no function to hide empty fields in the new email wizard and the old preferences still have Hide Empty Fields set as enabled:

Reset up a new email notification with everything exactly the same and this time the Hide Empty Field function performed as expected. Not sure why the old one that used to work correctly stopped working though.
