Why doesn't my top header image show on my form in editing mode? I have to preview it or switch to "Designer" to see it? I'd like it to show up in editing mode.
I cloned your form and I was able to replicate your issue. The form cover (header image) is not seen on the form builder, however, it can be seen on the form designer. I checked the code and it appears that the form cover is designed to show before the form, and the form builder only displays the form part. This is why the header image cannot be seen on the form.
If you want to be able to modify the form cover (header image) , I would suggest removing the header image from the form designer.
Inject the custom css below to remove the empty space at the top:
Then replace it with a heading field in the form as seen below.
