Paypal - Custom Recurring Payments

I am working on a form that will allow users to check out with paypal.  I need for them to have the option to either pay in full or to break the total up into 3 equal payments that come out on specific dates; for example - Sep 1, Oct 13, Nov27 rather than monthly/quarterly.  Is that possible?  Thanks.

The full payment is possible, however the custom date recurring is not possible. I don't think it is supported with any payment gateways API.

The only available options for subscriptions are daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and etc. 

You can also use the "Number of Payments" limit so the subscription will automatically stop once the limit is reached.
