How to populate a specific matrix field with the value from a question previously selected in the form

Asked by Andrea on July 19, 2016 at 04:37 PM

I'd like to populate a specific field in my matrix with the value from a specific question earlier in the form.

The column of row titles corresponds to the questions that were asked earlier in the form.

Next to that row title column, is a column labeled yes/no.  I'd like to see the Yes or No populated in the matrix automatically, based on the answer selected earlier in the form which corresponds to the relative row title.

Is there a condition that will allow me to do this?

This is possible with 'Update a form field value' conditions added via our old user interface.

To switch between our old and new UI, use the next links.

Conditional output to the Matrix field is not yet implemented in the new UI.

We've improved the new interface and this issue should not appear anymore.

    Thank you
