when forms are emailed to me, I want the reply email to be the submitter's email but it constantly shows up as my email.

in the section to indicate sender email and reply to email, your site shows the sender/reply emails mix up.

    please fix

    Hello planethoppers,

If that is your actual setting and that it's not reflecting the reply-to email address of the form sender, that's probably because your email client is not capable of reading reply-to fields. For this reason to why when you click reply, it will pick up the sender email field value and not the reply-to field value.

If you have further questions, please let us know.

    Thanks.

I use gmail and outlook.  I've been able to get reply email as user's email with other form providers.  What other solutions could there be for jotform?  what email client would work with jotform?

JotForm does not have any application-specific preferences when it comes to handling of emails and simply conform to the basic provisions on email standards. So it's either the used email client is capable of it or not.

I also just checked your reply to setting and it's using a phone field instead of the email. Can you try editing your notification setting again?

Also, regarding the use of the reply-to email, gmail has capacity to handle such. I tried searching for articles regarding this but there seems no feature for this on the said application.

Now, if you're trying to find a way how to use the email sender as the one coming from the email field, unfortunately, this feature was already removed as it no longer conforms to the email standards online, and is one of the primary causes of email servers of senders to be blocked by anti-spam filters. For such reason that we no longer allow such practice.

If you have questions, please let us know.

    Thanks.
