    Hi there,

I was wondering whether it was possible to insert placeholder text into a matrix textbox (as you can do with a regular textbox).

I want to be able to insert different placeholders for different textboxes within the form (i.e. I don't want the same placeholder for every textbox).

    Thanks,

    Sam

    Hello Sam,

Do you want to add a hint text for each of the textbox of matrix field? Unfortunately it is not possible with matrix field but you may like to take a look at our "Configurable List" widget which will allow you to add hint text. Please check the screenshot below:

    Hope this helps.

Do try it out and get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

Thanks Ashwin. Unfortunately this doesn't quite work for me but populating the matrix using the (old version of) the conditions wizard will do the job for me (albeit it is a bit time consuming as can't get the wizard to populate to more than one cell at a time!).
