Conditional Logic to Unrequire Field - But still prevents submissionAsked by bmccain on August 17, 2016 at 12:22 PM
I have a conditional logic that unrequires address when status is set to guest
When I select guest, the red asterick goes away
But when i try to submit, it still give the 'field required" error
I have tested your form and I was able to replicate mentioned issue. After that I have cloned your form and I was able to replicate it on my cloned form as well. I was able to resolve this issue by deleting address field and adding new one. However if you do the same on your form, you will also delete all submitted data for address field.
Instead of that I would suggest you to edit your condition for address field. First unrequire address and set your condition like this.
On my cloned form this has resolved mentioned issue.
Here is my cloned form: https://form.jotform.com/62295814652966
Feel free to test it and clone it.
Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
