How can I preview the thank you page without actually submitting a payment?

Asked by wysalisa on August 23, 2016 at 04:38 PM

I want to see the thank you page but in preview I can only get as far as the payment page (paypal).  How can I preview the thank you page without making a submission?

    Hello wysalisa,

Editing your Thank you page is the only way to view the thank you page without making any submission. So if you want to view the thank you page in actual, the only way to do this is to make an actual submission.

But since you have a Paypal field in it, then your best and quick solution is to temporarily remove your Paypal field and make a submission.

    Alternative Solution

Another method to see how your form works is to run Paypal in sandbox mode (provided that you have a Paypal developer account).

If you have a Paypal developer account and would like to simulate a submission with payment process, you can enable sandbox by clicking Properties > Sandbox > Enabled

If you do not have yet a Paypal developer account but would like to create one for simulation, you may do so visit https://developer.paypal.com. Login using your real account there, then create profiles for your seller and buyer test accounts. Once done, just enable your form's Sandbox mode and you're good to go to make payment simulations.
