Is there a way to use two unique IDs and increment only one of them based on a 'if else' condition?

Unfortunately, you can use only one Unique ID widget per form. When you try to use two Unique ID widgets in your form, you will get the error message as shown below.

In addition, I will try to find a way to do that by using conditional logic.  However, If you share more detail about what you want to do,it would be better for us.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your quick revert.

What I want to do is assign a unique alpha numeric code to each submission. But the text part differs based on a certain field.

eg. if some one chooses option A, I want to assign him a code starting with ABC0000

where as if a person chooses option B, I want to assign a code starting with XYZ0000.

Kindly let me know if there is a way to auto increment a field without using the unique ID widget.

If I understood your request, you need total submission data separately for A and B values. Unfortunately, there is no way to do it in JotForm. You can get total submission by Unique ID Widget. You cannot get the number of submissions separately for A and B values.

If you have any other questions please feel free to let us know.

    Thanks.
