How can I link to an anchor tag in an embedded form?

Asked by mitmuseum on October 21, 2016 at 01:39 PM

    We're embedding a Jotform here: https://mitmuseum.mit.edu/visit/group-reservation

I have added an anchor tag to the Jotform here: https://form.jotform.com/20115603235#pricing

... and would like to be able to share the link to the anchor tag in the embedded form via the site's URL (not the Jotform URL). Is there a way to do this?

Hello, I checked the page you included on your post https://mitmuseum.mit.edu/visit/group-reservation but it throws a 404 error so I wasn't able to check the embedded form.

To answer your question - "...Is there a way to do this?"

Within the scope of JotForm, this is something that is not doable I'm afraid. However, if you will use your form's Full Source Code to embed it on your page, then your developer can probably work his way around this idea by following this discussion from Stackoverflow http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9687085/jump-link-inside-an-iframe

It's also worth noting that the bug in Firefox being discussed on that thread is not yet fixed as of this moment if iinm. Here's the bug report in case you're interested https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=638598
