I am able to replicate the issue at my end. It seems that there is an issue when the PayPal checkout buttons is enabled. Let me forward the issue to our backend team to take a look. Once we have any information in this regard, you'll be posted here.
Meanwhile, please disable the option "PayPal Checkout buttons" in the payment field settings. You may add an image field to the form to display the image separately.
