Creating Form to PURCHASE a Coupon/Promo Code

I am looking to create a checkout form for purchase of a discounted code (for Black Friday/Cyber Monday). I would just have my customers enter a promo code into my already created checkout form on my website, however to purchase my service, some clients may not be ready to submit all materials required and would prefer to utilize the service at a later date. That being said, I was going to create a new form just to purchase the discount code to use at a later date. I was wondering if there is a way after payment is complete on the Thank You page to have a custom promo code automatically generated for each customer? I know I can customize the Thank You page to say what I want, but is there a way to have it provide a different code for each purchaser? Is there any way to make this happen? Please let me know.

    Hello,

While it is possible to automatically create an automatic code with the use of the Unique ID widget, it is not possible to have the codes automatically be added in the coupon codes on your payment form. And there is no guarantee that all the coupon codes will fit in your payment field, since the coupon code setup on the payment wizard is designed to be used for single code for general usage and not for individual creation per user. So I would suggest to make use of just one single coupon code for everyone to use.

Here is a guide about information on Unique ID widget: https://www.jotform.com/help/79-How-to-Add-Custom-Unique-IDs-to-your-Form-Submissions

If I'm misunderstanding your inquiry, please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Hi Llyam,

Thank you for responding. The unique ID sounds like it could work, however when reading the post on how to use it, it says that only I will see the ID and not the user. I am hoping to have a new Unique ID Code for Each user once they complete checkout and it shows them their new "promo code" on the Thank You Page upon checkout. Does that make sense?

Currently it seems the only way to go about this to personalize each coupon code is to have the users checkout and pay. Then personally emailing them with their unique Promo Code. I was just hoping to avoid the time it takes to do that for each customer.

    Hello impactdanceadjudicators,

Please note that Unique ID is generated only after the form is submitted and it is possible to display it in thank you message. Please check the screenshot below:

    Hope this helps.
