Converting field entries into email content.

Hi there - I'm creating a form that acts as a quote builder, where the user can select signs, see them added live into a 'My Quote' section (Text Box), and then receive an email confirming their order's contents as well as us - the sign manufacturer - receiving an email outlining their quote request.

I'm having issues with the configurable list widget entries showing up in the emails. It seems that only the last fields viewed (conditions on a Categories drop down determine which products are visible) actually appear in the emails.

The alternative is to have the contents of the 'My Quote' text field be the contents that appears in the email, however I would like to be able to format this content so it presents as a table (or at the very least add prefixes to field entries so it would read, for example Sign: R1-1, QTY: 5). This would be more ideal, as it would also reflect any entries they may have manually deleted prior to submission.

Could you please let me know how I can achieve either/both of these outcomes?

    Thanks, loving the product btw!

When a configurable list is hidden, all the entries within that field will be cleared once the user submits the form. This is why only the last configurable list viewed will appear on the email if the rest of the user's selection were hidden.

However, it looks like you have already setup a workaround where the user will first select the Submit dropdown so that all the Configurable Lists will be shown when the user hits the submit button. Since all the Config Lists are visible, all the selections by the user will be visible in the email.

Another workaround I can suggest would be to add another rule in your "Browse by category" conditions that if the selected Configurable List is filled, then it will be visible in the form. Add a rule for each of the config lists in that category within the same condition.

That way, when the configurable list is filled, even if the user chooses another category, the previous list from the other category will remain visible. And as such, it will also be visible in the email that your users will receive.

    Thank you for your suggestion.

Ideally I would like to use the 'Ready to Submit' workaround I created, but the issue I was having was that, despite this being in place, the emails were still only showing the final fields viewed & entered. I even edited the 'Browse by category' conditions to show the relevant fields if the type or SUBMIT had been selected, and it's still only showing the last configurable list fields viewed. Any idea why that might be happening?

Fixing this issue would be more ideal that your suggested work around only as it keeps the area below the quoting section clear for the user to search for more signs, rather than scroll through fields they have already selected.

    Thanks :)

I cloned your form and did some tests there. I selected the Submit dropdown to make all the Config Lists visible and submitted the form. It seems like all the Configurable Lists that I filled are shown in the email. I can't seem to replicate the issue that you encountered.

Can you please provide us with some steps on how to replicate the issue? This will help us identify the issue and see if there is a solution or workaround for it. I will be waiting for your response.
    Thank you.
