Is it possible to use ammount from a field that is read-only?

Is it possible to use the amount from a calculate field included in a text that nobody can change?

Yes, that is possible, you can set that text field as Read-Only and use its value normally. To do that please follow:

1. Click on gear box on textbox field:

2. In Preferences page choose Advanced

And switch 'Read Only' option on.

That way, your field is read-only, nobody can change it, but you can show values, use them in calculations etc.
