HTML Tables do not work for depicting unencrypted data either. Like this it is very difficult to further process our finding. Please enlighten me on how to export the successfully unencrypted data!

    Hi,

Can you please give us more details about your concern? Are you trying to download using submission data? I tried downloading my encrypted submissions and I encountered no problem.

I checked your forms and I found that this form(http://www.jotformeu.com/form/53236314166350) is the only encrypted form in your account and there's no HTML table. Can you please give us the error you encountered with your form?

    Regards

    Dear Chriistian!
    Thanks for your reply!
If the form is set to „encrypted“ now everything works, I can upload the key and then I can see the decrypted data. The problem is, that I need to get these data into an excel sheet. I understood that via „submissions“ it is not possible to download unencrypted excel sheets for my data. I found a hint in your forum pointing to those .html tables.
The problem is, that I can only create such a table if I set the form to unencrypted. Then, however, I cannot see the data.
So - to say it clear: I wand the unencrypted data of my form in an excel sheet (then I could calculate means etc.). How can I do that?
Thank you very much for your help!
    Bernhard

    Hello Bernhard,

As of right now, the Excel, CSV, PDF downloads and Emails that contain the form data are not supported. All server side gathered and processed data can only be retrieved in encrypted form because your private key is never sent to our servers.

If the form submissions were submitted when the form encryption is turned off, then the data will appear properly in the Excel file.

You might want to check HTML Table Listing Report and Grid Listing Report.

Please check this guide for more information about Encrypted forms: https://www.jotform.com/help/344-Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

Is there any future outlook on being able to use the form encrypted but also being able to export the data into excel unencrypted.  I don't see the point of the encryption if you can export the data to excel or pdf?  The point of creating forms is to collect data. Generally, this data will be used or analysed further.  Being able to use the encryption is great for security but I don't see the point when you can't do anything with the data other than view each individual record separately.

Yes, encrypted data can only be seen through our submission page this guarantees the security of data while traveling out of our servers.

However, I understand your point and this is something developers might consider in the future. For now, if you need data to be downloaded then you must create form without the encryption feature.
