Announcing E-Signatures for Forms
Using JotForm’s powerful form builder, you can add an e-signature question to your form and get your users to sign the forms they complete.
It is 2013 and we are still printing dead trees, signing them with pen and faxing them over. If your form requires online signature to be finalized you do not need to waste any more time with the fax step. There is no difference between a JotForm form that has been submitted with an e-signature and a form that has been signed on paper and faxed to you.
JotForm e-signature is tested on ipads, iphones and android phones. It just works! The large size of the signing area allows your users to easily enter their signatures.
E-signature forms can be used on contract forms, application forms, registration forms, online petitions, forms that require terms of service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, incident reporting and human resources forms.
E-signatures are legally binding on almost all countries and states, but we still recommend consulting with your lawyer.
JotForm records the IP address and time of the signature made so that also provides additional confirmation about the signer of the document.
You can create your first e-signature form right away! Simply add an E-Signature field to your form under Power Tools on the Form Builder.
UPDATE:E-signature field has been moved the JotForm Form Widgets gallery. So, to add it you should use the widgets button on the left side instead.
