  • How do I upload documents to forms?

Jotform makes it easy to upload and store files. Simply add our File Upload form element to any of your forms, and users will be able to upload files from their desktop by dragging and dropping. You can change the allowed file types and upload size limit within the preferences pane.

  • How do I make a file upload form?

Choose from over 100 free file upload form templates, or build your own form from scratch. To get started, just create your form with Jotform’s user-friendly online Form Builder, include a file upload widget, and embed it in your website to start accepting file submissions online.

  • How do I add a fillable form to my website?

To add a fillable form to your website, create a form with Jotform. Add the questions you’d like to include in your form and upload any other form elements you’d like. Then embed your form in your site using a simple copy-paste code.

  • Which file types can Jotform file upload forms accept?

The default file extensions are pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, text, rtf, html, zip, mp3, wma, mpg, flv, avi, jpg, jpeg, png, and gif.

Go to the Options tab in our free online Form Builder and list the file types you’d like to allow in the text box under File Types.
