Having issues importing data using the import data app

I downloaded the excel and csv file of my form submissions so that I could re-upload those submissions at a later date using the import data app. However despite making no changes to the downloaded excel and csv files of the form submissions they will not import back into the form. This needs to be addressed to make the import data app a useful utility that requires no work.

The primary name field changes in such a way that it is incompatible with the data import app. 

Please correct this problem with the app so it becomes useful

Hi Jason,

The import data app requires specific headers suggested by the app. This means that you will have to make minor edits to the Excel file by replacing the field label columns with the provided headers so it will be recognized properly by the import app. We suggest to strictly follow this guide to import your form data without any issues https://www.jotform.com/help/308-Import-App-Easily-import-your-Excel-or-CSV-data-into-JotForm.
