Dear Team,
One of the purposes I use JotForm is to make the pre-meeting online voting so that the voting results can be calculated and be taken into consideration when the actual physical meeting happens. However, before the voting is registered, we need to make sure that the person is the right meeting attendee. Can this be a SMS or email verification before the person can start voting? the verification will be crosschecked with one of the googlesheets or local excel documents based on mobile phone number or email address, is that sth achievable? thanks
regards,
Dong

Hi,
There are a number of ways on how you can verify that the form submission came from the right person.
You can use any of the following widget below:
Email validator widget: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/e-mail_validator
SMS Confirmation widget: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/sms_confirmation
Those widget will receive a verification code that will need to be inputted in the form before the form is actually submitted. From there, you can cross match your actual list if the mobile number or email address are the expected participants. To add a widget on your form, you can follow this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-your-Form
You can also integrate your form to Google Spreadsheet to help you on managing the submissions better. Here's a guide about it: https://www.jotform.com/help/228-How-to-Integrate-Form-with-Google-Spreadsheet
I hope that helps.
