    Hi,

I published a form last week without any issues but on Friday (16/12/16) images failed to load and only the code was displayed?

    https://form.jotformeu.com/63424386162355

Withing Jotform the staff profile images display without any problems, I've checked the links to the ftp storage that the images are located so am left puzzled!!!

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,
    Richard

    Hello Richard,

We are sorry that we need to remove the ability using HTML on form builder because of security issues. In other words your HTML tags are not working.

I want to state that we are working on this issue. We would like our user to use some basic HTML codes in their form, however there is some time to implement this on JotForm.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

    Regards.

Thank you for coming back to me so quickly.

This is a real concern especially as we have a live form that is now no longer functioning as it did or should when it went live.

Are there any work arounds? you'll see from the form that we are only trying to display a image of the staff member, I'm not sure what security risk this could cause...

Look forward to hearing from you,
    Regards,
    richard

    Hi,

I'm afraid that there is no alternative way to replace the functionality of the Matrix field based from the widgets. However, if you would like for the image to view in the form but separate from the function of the Matrix field, you can use the image field and other basic fields.

Do let us know if you need further assistance.

Can I insert a new column to have the image showing in? So it's all contained within one table?

Yes you can insert an image field beside the matrix field so that it is in the same row, it should look like this:

For more detail please refer to this guide on Field Positioning: Form Field Positioning

Do let us know if you need further assistance.

    Hi,

Are we now able to include basic html such as image tags within forms?
I've just been testing some forms and the images that originally created this discussion now appear to be working again!

    Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no updates in your case. It is still not possible to add an image into the Matrix field with HTML codes.

On the other hand, my suggestion is to add another column to the left or right side of the form and put the images in it as Christian suggested.

If you give me some time, I can prepare a demo form for you.

    Thank you.

    Hi again,

I have prepared a demo form for you.

Please have a look at the following form: https://form.jotform.com/70122800905950

You can clone this form to your side. If you need more details about how to clone, please have a look at the following guide: How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

My demo form is not responsive actually. Therefore, please enter the same width and height for the images.

Otherwise, form may be foul up unfortunately.

Please have a look at the following for the final view:

You can change the appearance according to your needs by injecting some custom CSS.

If you need any other supports, we are always ready for the help.

    Thank you.
