    Hello,

My form is not set to encrypt however it is sending my email notices encrypted.  When I try to preview the form it is prefilled with encrypted data this just started happening last night - any insight as to what is going on the form is this form

    Dear Wendi,

I have checked the submissions of your form named "New ASCA International Membership (non-USA)" and I have seen that only 2 of the submissions look like encrypted.

What is strange is the submission page do not require any private key to open it. If they were really encrypted, you should have seen a window as you can see below:

I have suspected that some of the spammers have found a way to send those text to you. Maybe they are some kind of virus as you have already mentioned also. So that, I recommend you to add some security fields to your form such as the following:

First of all, as I have checked your form, I have seen that you do not have any captcha to avoid spams. I recommend you to add a captcha to your form as you can see the following document: https://www.jotform.com/help/205-How-to-Add-a-CAPTCHA-field

You can also add Google Recaptcha Widget to your form as you find it at the following link: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/google_recaptcha

Furthermore, what you can do is you can use a drawing captcha. Here's the link: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/drawing_captcha. This one is much harder to pass, although the Google reCaptcha should already be enough.

Moreover, you can use an email verified. With that, it would be an additional step for them. First, they'll need to use a valid email address, then make an actual verification of it. Here are the email validation/verified widgets that you can use:

    https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/e-mail_validator

    https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/xverify_email

Also, you can set unique submission on your from in order to avoid being spammed. Please check the following guide for this: https://www.jotform.com/help/64-How-to-Set-Unique-Submissions-on-a-Form

Please try some of them, if you have seen that the issue still persists, let us know.

    Thank you for contacting us.

I believe it had something to do with the translation widget – I disabled it and now everything seems ok
