    Why the check in check out widget doesnt turn the days you picked unavailable?

    Once you submit a reservation, the dates should be closed and be unavailable so other people would not pick the same date. And also I think we (administrators) should be able to change it whenever a reservation is canceled and get it opened again. How can we work this out?

    Thanks for letting us know about the problem for the check-in check-out widget.

    This is happening because that is the way the check-in check-out widget which currently functions to only collect that information based on dates as they are selected and submitted.

    If you want to do something like that then it would be much better to use our Date Reservation Widget that serves that purpose.

    Ok I`ve used the reservation widget and the dates get unavailable but once a client cancels it, I have to delete the widget and place a new one so the dates will come available again and as a consequence I lose all the conditional logic configuration.

    That's very very bad.

    Is there a way we can make the date to turn available again without  deleting the widget?

    For the Reservation Widget all you need to do is simply edit the submission then untick the selected date and resubmit it which will resolve the booked dates problem.

    Can you please guide me to a step by step? I can`t get to that dialog box and I did not understand what I would have todo. Did you mix both check in check oput widget and reservation widget?

    The Check In/Out widget and Reservation date app was not mixed by Kade. The resolution only refers to using the Reservation widget.

    You can review this step by step guide.

    #1 Open the submission of the form in the View Submission panel.

    Ex:

    #2 Click on the EDIT button to go to Edit mode.

    #3 While in Edit mode, you can alter the reserved date. 

    Click a reserved date to unselect (unreserved) it. 

    Click a different date to change the reserved date.

     

    #4 To save the changes click on SUBMIT button (submit the form)

     

    #5 After submit, the changes should be saved and will show in the submission data.
