Payment form with submission limit accepting payments when the form is opened by multiple users at the same time before it reaches its limit.

Is there any possibility to check if submission limit reached  before the Paypal or other payment redirect?

Eg.: if 2-3 subscriber open the payment form at the same time but the on is finished the payment and the limit reached the other still have chance to do the payment. Either the form accept his subscription or refuse the payment is done.

In first case the limit is not kept. +1 submission accepted. In second case the, payment accepted but submission not proceed.

Neither solution is good. is there any possibility to handle it well?

Unfortunately, the submissions are marked as complete only after completing the payment. I have not tested a payment form with submission limits. Let me run few tests on this and get back to you with my results. Also, did you try testing with any other payment gateway that allows entering credit card information on the form itself like PayPal Pro, Stripe or Authorize.net, etc?

    Thanks!

Thanks for being patient. I have tested a form with PayPal payments using Sandbox account on my form. I was having 5 submissions on the form and I set the limit to 6 submissions. When I tried to submit the form simultaneously on 2 windows, I was able to submit the form and make the payment since the form is opened before reaching its submission limit. When I tried to open the form again after completing the payment, it is displaying the disabled message.

This is due to the submission limit is checked only after receiving the payment and marking the submission as complete i.e., on Thank you page.

Is there any possibility to check if submission limit reached  before the Paypal or other payment redirect?

There is also a possibility of failure of the payment which might mark the submission limit before it reaches its actual set limit. Is it okay to check the submission limit despite the payment status?

Let us know so that we can forward it to our backend team to check if it is possible to implement this.

    Thank you!

    Hello Gergely.

I discussed this topic with our developers. This request calls for an implementation which is not in our near future plans. I will still keep this ticket as a feature request but we cannot give you neither an ETA nor a promise regarding this feature ever will be implemented or not.

Your best shot at this relies on the in sync payment methods. Here is the payment services we provide which are in sync:

*Braintree *Stripe *Authorize.net *Square *PayPal Pro

Let us know if you ever need anything else,

    Cheers.
