Connecting a custom email for autoresponder

    Hi, I'm trying to connect my email so the autoresponder will get sent from it. I've put in everything needed, but the autoresponder is not being sent so obviously something is wrong - the problem is that I can't see anywhere what the issue is, if it's the port, host name, wrong password or what. 

     

    How do I troubleshoot this?

    If the SMTP fails to deliver, then the following may be the reason:

    1. The SMTP credentials are incorrect.

    2. The hosting provider blocked Jotform from sending on your behalf through SMTP.

     

    In many cases, it's the credentials. But I'm sorry to say that we don't have a feature to check what's the problem. You can only check your email history for the status of the email, either it failed to it is sent.

    I would suggest checking with your hosting provider what SMTP details have to be used. They should be able to give you the details.
