How come people are asked for a password and log in when they visit my form?

Asked by srioux on June 16, 2017 at 05:51 PM

I have posted the link to my registration form on facebook and am getting messages telling me that when they click on the link it asks them for a password and log in, or it asks them to create a form. Am I not posting the correct link so that people can open the form on cell phones or ipads?

Please note that you are using the edit link (https://www.jotform.com/build/71504848284260) which requires access to the account that holds the form, and that explains why your users are being asked for login credentials.

Please use this proper link instead: https://www.jotform.com/71504848284260

On a general note, here is our guide on where to find your form URL: https://www.jotform.com/help/401-Where-to-Find-My-Form-URL

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance please let us know. Thank you.
